Special Visit {Insta-Friday}

I started collecting these fruit and veggies snack caps after seeing on Facebook all the fun learning that kids can do with them.  You can sort by colors, make a pattern, count and match.  Even though Baby C can't do these things on her own yet, it's a great start.

Baby C received a new blanket.  Doesn't she look so comfy?  Who wouldn't love nap time with that sweet and soft blankie?

Does anyone else take trips to the mall playground when it's so hot outside?  Baby C loves to ride on the cars, but she doesn't know they can move if you pop some quarters in.  Let's hope she doesn't learn about that for a while.

Pop and BeBe came for a quick visit from Florida.  We took them downtown to celebrate Pop's (or Poppin, as Baby C calls him) birthday.

We ate at The Cheesecake Factory.  Yum!

The next day, we took Pop and BeBe on a hike in our backyard.  It was a beautiful 70 degrees, Fall like weather.  Unfortunately, the next day shot back up to the 90's.  I'm going to miss these beautiful hills being so close when we move.

After Baby C drew all over Daddy's chair with a restaurant crayon, I took her to the store and we bought lots of crayons for her paper.  She loves to color!

life rearranged

What exciting things did you do this week?  Did your children learn anything new?  Did you do something out of the ordinary?

  1. I think I'm buying that blanket because we either have one that's too thick, too thin, or too small! Tks for the review!

    1. You're welcome, Lisa. I think you'll love it. And the more you wash it, the softer it gets. How cool is that? :)

    1. I think she grows at nap time, Tiffany. :) Yes, it's an Ergo. I don't know what I would do without it.
