Shortly before turning two, it was time for Baby C to wean from her paci and only use it when sleeping. It took a couple of days before the tantrums subsided, and now it's normal for her. We don't have to replace pacifiers nearly as much as we used to. And our new favorite is the Softees Silicone Pacifier, one of Nuby's newest innovative designs.
Baby C was so excited about her new pacifier. She's been having trouble taking naps lately, but right now, she's sleeping like a baby with her new paci. (Maybe that has something to do with playing out in the snow all morning).
You can purchase the same Softees Silicone Pacifiers (2 Pack) Baby C has for $5.49 from BuyBabyDirect.com, Babyhaven.com or Amazon.com. Choose from a variety of colors and sizes (0-6 months and 6-12+ months)! Stay connected with Nuby on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

Does your child use a pacifier for comfort?

These pacifiers weren't around when my first two were little. They look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThey really are, Lauryn!
DeleteI think I may have to try these with my 3mo old. She will NOT take a paci at all. My 2 year old is still obsessed with his, so it's super weird to me to have a baby who won't use one!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is tough when your used to one baby taking one. Good luck! It's worth a try.
DeleteThese look wonderful! Love that they're shaped like the mother's nipple to help avoid confusion.
ReplyDeleteI think that is a great feature too, Ruth!
DeleteThis looks like a nice one to try. Lu used the hospital ones. She looked like the baby from the Simpsons.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! So did Baby C! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I'll keep them in mind when buying new pacis for the newborn!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! Yes, I hope baby takes a paci. Did J take one?
DeleteJ did take one, but family helped us help him quit the habit really early on, like 3 mos. We're pretty thankful b/c I heard it can be hard to get them to stop using one. We have our own probs though. Still drinks a bottle at night.
DeleteIt is extremely hard for us to break the habit. Though she only uses it in bed now, she went to all day, day care a couple of weeks ago and screamed to have it when I picked her up. I'm assuming she saw some other child with it all day. So that was really tough.
